 The Partnership Purpose and Mission

Every resident and guest of Ontario County will live, work, and play free from harm from alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.

From a modest investment of $18,500 from the Ontario County Board of Supervisors in 1995, the Partnership has grown into a community-based substance abuse prevention coalition with representation from all sectors in the community.

As a 501-c-3 corporation, The Partnership reaches nearly 1500 youth each year with positive health messages and intensive mentoring that changes lives!

Student Risk and Protective Factor Surveys

7000 students throughout the county have been surveyed in alternate years since 2001.
Student data shaped a comprehensive prevention plan, provided baseline information and is used to procure grants
2007 data shows significant reductions in substance use especially in middle school, and all factors addressed by Partnership programs show marked improvement!
Resource Assessment
The Partnership maintains a clearinghouse of information for schools, agencies, and organizations.
The Partnership assists small organizations with similar missions, offering fiscal and promotional services.
Evaluation of Prevention Strategies
