Town Meeting on the Preventaion of Underage Drinking

The Partnership for Ontario County will be holding a Town Meeting on the Prevention of Underage Drinking. This meeting will provide an opportunity for parents, teachers, officials, youth and other community members to voice their concerns and suggest ideas for preventing young people from using alcohol. We will be exploring the continuum of juvenile justice as it relates to underage drinking from an understanding of awareness of underage drinking to the progression from arrest to consequences. We will also recognize Youth Court participants as well as experience a demonstration of the Youth Court process. Concluding the evening, will be a Q&A session featuring expert panelists who will address concerns, suggestions and possible solutions.

Where: Ontario County Safety Training Facility.
Light dinner will be provided at 6:00pm and the meeting will begin at 6:30pm.

See how the work of the Partnership and collaborating partners work together to help and provide healthy alternatives for your neighbors, kids and families in this community. At this meeting, you will have a chance to hear from program coordinators and participants from: Youth Court, Big Brothers Big Sisters, STREAM, Project Citizen and Class Action, the Family Support Center, Child Abvocacy Center and from Drug Free Communities.
